Required courses
RN/LPN: 20 hours of nursing continuing education from an approved provider is required when using the CE/practice pathway. Good to know
Nebraska uses a continuing-competency system. A common pathway requires 500 hours of nursing practice during the previous 5 years + 20 CE contact hours from an approved provider during the previous 2 years. Other pathways include recent graduation, an approved refresher course, or current national specialty certification.
