RN: 30 CE hours during the renewal period. LPN: 30 CE hours during the renewal period. The current Board rule does not identify a specific mandatory subject-hour breakdown for the standard 30 hours. First renewal: possible exemption under the Board rule. (DPHSS)
Good to know
Guam requires evidence of CE completed within the renewal period. First-time RN/LPN renewals may be exempt if the initial license was obtained by NCLEX within the preceding 6 months. The Guam Board rules also provide consequences/alternative requirements when the 30 hours are not met. (DPHSS)
