What Pennsylvania requires
RNs: 30 hours every two-year renewal.
2 of the 30 hours must be approved child abuse recognition and reporting training. LPNs also need these 2 hours each renewal.
Starting May 1, 2026, RNs complete 2 hours of organ and tissue donation education once within 5 years.
New licenses require 3 hours of approved child abuse training.
